About The Position

We are seeking a macOS Endpoint Engineer to support an enterprise environment, responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of macOS devices using Workspace ONE UEM. This role will play a critical part in device lifecycle management, system configuration, automation, security compliance, and advanced troubleshooting, ensuring efficient and secure operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing macOS environments at scale. This position is located in Atlanta, GA in a hybrid working environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing macOS devices at enterprise scale
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workspace ONE (macOS-focused)
  • Strong understanding of macOS MDM concepts, including: Automated Device Enrollment (DEP), Configuration profiles, Application packaging and deployment (pkg, dmg)
  • Proficiency in bash scripting for automation and device management
  • Experience managing patching, updates, and security compliance
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Experience managing large-scale macOS environments (500+ devices)
  • Experience working in enterprise and security-driven environments
  • Strong background in process improvement and automation
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams (Security, Help Desk, Infrastructure)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a fleet of macOS devices using Workspace ONE UEM
  • Plan, design, deploy, and maintain device infrastructure, configurations, and system environments
  • Package and deploy applications, policies, scripts, and security updates
  • Build, enhance, and support automated enrollment workflows (DEP / Automated Device Enrollment)
  • Manage system configurations and support transitions into production environments
  • Ensure macOS devices remain compliant with cybersecurity policies, patching, and update standards
  • Monitor and manage OS updates, patching, and device health at scale
  • Provide L3 troubleshooting and remediation support for macOS-related issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex technical problems
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and improve device management processes
  • Create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
  • Provide post-deployment/end-user support to ensure a seamless user experience
