Requirements

5-7 years minimum experience as a machinist
Prior experience setting up and operating HAAS VMC’s and Mazak Lathes
High attention to detail and quality
A good knowledge base and understanding of M and G code
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Understand basic GD&T call-outs
Ability to accurately use standard machinist measuring tools
Ability to setup and run “one-off” parts to print efficiently and accurately
Must work well under pressure
Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

Mazatrol programming experience a plus

Responsibilities

Independently set-up and operate 5 axis CNC machine, to machine parts per print efficiently and accurately
Inspects work for conformance to specifications
Maintain little to no re-work or scrap
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Maintains a satisfactory attendance and punctuality record
Keep work area clean and organized
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
