About The Position

Regal Rexnord is hiring a Machinist for a fully onsite, third-shift role in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled building. The position pays $23.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience and skills and offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The machinist operates computerized numerical control (CNC) equipment to produce finished parts within tight tolerances, performs machine setups and minor program adjustments, and helps ensure quality and production standards are met. The role may involve operating multiple machines and rotating departments.

Requirements

Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency operating CNC lathe, CNC mill machines, or resistance spot welder, with any combination of two machine types.
Intermediate knowledge and experience setting up machines.
High school education or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of machining principles and methods for CNC machine tools.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.
Reliability and minimal call-offs; good attendance is expected.
External candidates must pass a machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude.
Federal export-control restrictions may limit eligibility to U.S. persons or candidates who can otherwise qualify for a license permitting them to hold the position.

Responsibilities

Use process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards, and verbal and written instructions.
Machine, install, or re-cut chuck jaws as required.
Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine setups.
Download and upload machine programs and make minor programming adjustments as needed.
Operate different types of CNC equipment to perform machining operations and manufacture finished products within tight tolerances.
Inspect own work for correct dimensions, maintain company quality and quantity standards, and complete required documentation.
Inspect the work of other machinists as required.
Operate multiple machines and work in rotating departments as required.
Enter data into the ERP system.
Load and unload component parts weighing up to 25 pounds.
Perform other duties as assigned.
