We have an opportunity for a Machinist to join our Delavan, WI team. You will set up, gage, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and machining operations to maintain tight tolerances. Candidates with limited experience, but strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

High School or equivalent
3 – 5 years of CNC machining experience required
MS Office Suite experience
Must have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop math
Must be able to multi-task to keep production running smoothly
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 30lbs.
Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Responsibilities

Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts
Set-up machines where detail and operating procedures are standardized and obvious
Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and refractometer
May be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work
Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
