About The Position

Machinists will have a strong machining background, competent working on complex components while observing API Quality Management Standards. This position is NIGHT SHIFT; Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am.

Requirements

Must be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
Understanding of Siemens machine programming and control operations
Ability to work and collaborate with all levels
Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
Strong attention to detail
Must be open to continuous learning and improvement

Nice To Haves

Journeypersons Certificate is an asset, however, prior experience as a Machinist is considered
API threading experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the company’s Core Values
Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and others
Report any safety injuries or incidents that occur immediately and assist in investigations as required
Machine components using CNC equipment as per document requirements
Set-up and operate machines performing first article manufacturing when required
Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required
Document and report any deficiencies as per Quality Management Standards
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
Liaise with Team Lead to resolve any machining or assembly issues that may arise
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ability to run more than one machine when requested
Other duties as assigned
