About The Position
Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is hiring a Machinist to manufacture precision components for mission-critical applications in aerospace, defense, aviation, and other highly regulated industries. The role may involve CNC milling, CNC turning, Prototrak milling, grinding, and multi-axis machining, with opportunities to apply skills in setup, programming, troubleshooting, or production machining in a quality-focused environment. The position is based on-site in Orlando, Florida, and works second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Safety glasses and hearing protection are required in designated areas. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of turning-center or CNC machining experience.
- Experience operating and setting up machining equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, turning centers, or Prototrak-controlled machines.
- Working knowledge of G and M code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-axis machining.
- Experience with Fanuc, Milltronics, Prototrak, or similar machine controls.
- Live tooling experience.
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, turning centers, grinders, and other machining equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining programs and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Produce parts to required tolerances and specifications while maintaining quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical documentation.
- Complete work orders, production records, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following safety protocols.
