About The Position

This role requires a skilled machinist to set up and run complex parts with minimal supervision and assist in developing new processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' work-related experience.
- Proficient knowledge of CNC controls.
- Ability to read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications.
- Ability to perform first piece inspection accurately.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of vocational education or 4 years formal apprenticeship preferred.
- Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferred.
- Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all tooling and fixtures used in the CNC area are adequately designed, cost-effective, and procured to support customer deliveries and company budgets.
- Manually program machines utilizing proficient knowledge of CNC controls.
- Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications.
- Perform first piece inspection accurately and assist in the development of check sheets.
