Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED required.
3 years of advanced work experience or concentrated machining training with a strong understanding of machine tool processes.
Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings, written or verbal instructions.
Strong trouble shooting, problem-solving & organizational skills.
Fluent in the setup & operation of mills, lathes, surface grinders & other support equipment required.
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Advanced trade school or AA in technical field preferred.
ProtoTRAK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate a range of manual machinery, utilizing any accessories or tooling necessary to manufacture precision parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Independently determine order of operations and design tooling and workholding fixturing necessary to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
Responsible for first piece, in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain records and quality documentation.
