Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Barry is currently seeking applicants for a Machinist IV 2. The Machinist IV 2 is responsible for production and control of electronic components. This role consists of operating Bridgeports, Kickpress, Furnaces, Vapor Honing and Bead Blasting, etc. Job Location: Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA that is conveniently located near the main highways as well as some highly recommended restaurants. This would be an on-site position Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 3+ years of machine shop environment or manufacturing machine experience required.
• Must be able to learn new products quickly, accomplish goals, work independently and be highly motivated.
• This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Nice To Haves

• Bridgeport, Kickpress, Furnace, Tubbing and/or Blasting experience preferred.
• Microscope experience, understanding of tolerances and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading, alignments, cleaning, and maintaining machines.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Inspect parts and remove rejects.
• Must be technical, able to learn quickly, work independently and be highly motivated.
• Must be willing to float to meet production needs.
• Follow and understand all written work orders, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Complete work accurately by following written instructions and adhere to required safety rules.
