Machinist III - Cheraw 1 - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Machinist III assembles and manufactures product samples, prototypes, tools, and systems according to work plans, work orders, and specifications, completing assignments within specified timeframes. The role interprets construction plans, drawings, and work orders in cooperation with the team; ensures needed materials and resources are available; prepares tools, machines, and parts; and produces or assembles parts, components, products, systems, or tools according to sample plans. The position also performs visual inspections and functionality or quality tests, documents the results, and supports Project Managers or Engineers in sample analysis.
Requirements
- Vocational training in Electronics or Mechanics and 3 to 5 years of experience; alternatively, an undergraduate degree in Electronics or Mechanics and 3 to 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and manufacture product samples, prototypes, tools, or systems within specified timeframes and according to work plans, work orders, and specifications.
- Interpret construction plans, relevant drawings, and work orders in cooperation with the team.
- Ensure the availability of material parts and resources needed to complete assigned work.
- Prepare tools, machines, and parts according to sample plans, then produce or assemble parts, components, products, systems, or tools.
- Perform visual inspections and functionality or quality tests, and complete the related documentation.
- Support and cooperate with the responsible Project Manager or Engineers in sample analyses.
