Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience in Machinist, Line Boring, Welding, or Boiler Maker crafts.
- Completion of required academic and practical competencies.
- Ability to pass a written assessment on skills, safety, and knowledge.
- Proficiency in welding/cutting and operating lathes, milling machines, saws, and drill presses.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
- Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
- Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Nice To Haves
- Experience with Komatsu Electric Shovels and Epiroc Diesel Drills preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and industrial conditions.
- Required to wear PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and more.
- Must be able to stand, sit, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation.
- Subject to pre-employment and ongoing drug testing per applicable laws.
- Experience rebuilding machine pump parts
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead routine maintenance and machining projects.
- Provide leadership in safety, environmental compliance, and MSHA regulations.
- Complete work orders, order parts, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Develop solutions for mechanical issues and maintenance challenges.
- Participate in audits, JSAs, and SOP development.
- Read blueprints and procure appropriate materials and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
