About The Position

As a CNC Horizontal Machinist II, you will set up and run repeat or proven parts ranging from simple to high complexity with minimal direction from an area Lead or Supervisor. The role includes managing DNC communications to upload and download tool programs, providing technical assistance and instruction to operators and lower-level machinists, ensuring each work order has an accurate router, and inspecting and measuring parts to maintain statistical process control charts. The position is based on a Monday-through-Friday day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Machine Tool Technology program is preferred.
• Enrollment in vocational education or completion of a four-year formal apprenticeship is preferred.
