This hands-on role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, performing grinding operations, fabricating and refurbishing blades, and supporting production across multiple machines. This position offers a consistent 40-hour work week, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must provide own basic hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating Blanchard grinders or similar grinding equipment.
  • CNC programming experience.
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Forklift and/or crane operation certification.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
  • Operate additional equipment, including Blanchard grinders, and other shop machinery as production needs require.
  • Fabricate and refurbish industrial blades.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
