This role is for a Machinist on the 2nd shift, working from 4pm to 12:30am. Training will occur on the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) for up to six months. Requirements

Previous machinist experience and/or mechanically inclined
Ability to follow directions, be a self-starter and team oriented
Strong attention to quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs throughout the day as needed for material handling and job duties.
Open to overtime and weekend work

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain coiling and related production equipment to meet quality and production standards while following all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Maintain setups by replacing perishable tooling and keeping machines production-ready.
Clean, color, sort, and package inserts/parts as required.
Inspect own work to prescribed quality standards and correct issues immediately.
Accurately complete required records (counts, time, and production reporting).
Operate inspection and production reporting systems as required.
Immediately notify supervision of problems, delays, quality concerns, or safety issues impacting production.
