About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead for the second shift in beef production. The position starts at $24 per hour, with a $1 shift differential. The Production Lead guides hourly team members in achieving business results safely and efficiently, coordinates work across production and supporting departments, and maintains a visible presence on the production floor. The role also supports company policies and procedures, provides team training, and promotes sanitation, housekeeping, product quality, and efficient use of resources. The work takes place in a food-processing environment that is wet, damp, and cold, with temperatures frequently around 34 degrees. Employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays. The role may require long hours on one's feet, bending, stooping, and lifting or moving items of varying weights. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs.
Ability to motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example.
Ability to coach and train team members and take corrective action, including discipline, when appropriate.
Critical-thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good math skills.
Ability to work long hours in a wet, damp, and cold food-processing environment, frequently around 34 degrees.
May require standing for long hours, bending, and stooping.
Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents and products, or operate machinery.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
