About The Position

Quail Tools is seeking CNC Machinists to join its Odessa, Texas team. The role operates CNC lathes and requires the ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane. Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime are important qualities. On a rotation basis, the machinist will be on call when scheduled. The position also involves maintaining machine condition, performing minor equipment repairs, following safety requirements, and complying with relevant company and customer QHSE and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training may be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience cutting rotary shouldered connections.
• Two to five years of experience in a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines.
• Ensure machines are in working order and properly maintained.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• Be on call when scheduled on a rotation basis.
• Remain aware of and comply with relevant company and customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other delegated duties appropriate to maintaining the efficient running of the department.
