About The Position

CNC Machinists operate CNC lathe machines, help maintain equipment in working order, and perform minor repairs. The role follows established safety policies and procedures and requires compliance with applicable company and customer QHSE handbooks, procedures, and emergency procedures. On a rotation basis, the machinist may be required to be on call when scheduled. Other appropriate delegated duties may be assigned to support efficient department operations. The position is with Quail Tools in Odessa, Texas.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Experience cutting rotary shouldered connections.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines.
• Ensure machines are in working order and properly maintained.
• Perform minor equipment repairs.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• Be on call when scheduled on a rotation basis.
• Maintain awareness of and comply with relevant company and customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other appropriate delegated duties to maintain efficient department operations.
