About The Position
Assist in setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Fabricate machined parts from technical drawings. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas. Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. Support senior machinists with daily tasks and production runs. Document work performed and report issues or defects.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Proficiency in measuring and inspecting finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to fabricate machined parts from technical drawings
- Willingness to perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas
- Adherence to safety procedures and company policies
- Ability to support senior machinists with daily tasks and production runs
- Capability to document work performed and report issues or defects
