About The Position

This position is responsible for gauging and maintaining quality parts throughout the machining process, adhering to production standards, and ensuring data integrity. The role involves minor repairs to cutting tools, maintaining a safe working environment, and following company safety policies. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• One-year experience with a 3-axis or 4-axis CNC controlled mill.
• Able to read and edit CNC programs.
• Able to read, use and/or interpret blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges and vernier calipers to check and maintaining work quality.
• Flexible team member with strong communication skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• High school diploma or (GED) and one year related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Obtains lift operator license for motorized pallet jack and forklift.
• Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
• Experience: Able to read, use and/or interpret blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges and vernier calipers to check and maintaining work quality.
• 1 year: One-year experience with a 3-axis or 4-axis CNC controlled mill. Able to read and edit CNC programs.

Responsibilities

• Gauge and maintain quality parts throughout machining process.
• Maintain quality standards for production parts according to written quality procedures and practices.
• Maintains accurate parts counts and data integrity by clocking in and out properly on data computer collection system.
• Marks and/or tags identifying material on stock items and prepares necessary paperwork for proper routing of materials.
• Conducts minor repairs and maintenance to cutting tools during production process.
• Follow and adhere to company safety polices, procedures and practices. Maintain good housekeeping and safe working environment.
