About The Position

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist in our Carbon Room, where precision and reliability are at the core of everything we do. This full-time position offers a stable schedule on our second shift, working four 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday, starting at 3:30 PM. Requirements

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic understanding of tooling and machine adjustments
  • Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work the second shift schedule and overtime as needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand business correspondence as it relates to the job function, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Regularly required to stand and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Nice To Haves

  • Prior CNC experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components
  • Load and unload machined parts using various jigs and fixtures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Make necessary adjustments to tools and machinery to maintain compliance with specifications
  • Change tools as required to optimize machining processes
  • Perform inspections of finished parts using measurement tools to verify quality and adherence to standards
