About The Position

This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce quality parts while adhering to safety and production standards. The role involves routine maintenance, adjustments, and in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

Requirements

  • Ability to check machine inserts for wear and tear.
  • Proficiency in performing daily routine maintenance on CNC machines, including checking oil and coolant levels.
  • Skill in changing jaw settings, rack settings, and tooling.
  • Capability to make necessary offsets and tool changes during production.
  • Ability to monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments.
  • Experience conducting in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools.
  • Understanding of company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Ability to produce a specified quantity of quality parts per shift.

Responsibilities

  • Review router for instructions to complete task assigned.
  • Check machine inserts for wear and tear.
  • Perform daily routine maintenance on machine including check of oil and coolant levels.
  • Change jaw setting, rack setting, and tooling as needed.
  • Make necessary offsets and tool changes during production to maintain dimensional accuracy.
  • Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges or other precision measuring tools.
  • Produce a quantity of quality parts per shift as determined by management to meet customer delivery date.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
