Machining Process Engineer
About The Position
As part of Ford's Manufacturing team, you'll help build world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles. The Global Manufacturing Engineer (GME) team is responsible for planning and implementing new vehicle programs at powertrain component plants. This role involves being part of the GME team, delivering projects for new programs, and specifically installing a new machining line at the Sharonville Transmission Plant in Ohio. This position will require significant travel starting in mid-2027 and continuing into 2028. Ford encourages employees to think outside the box to find better and more efficient ways to manufacture vehicles.
Requirements
- Experience in machining processes.
- Ability to travel significantly starting mid-2027 through 2028.
Responsibilities
- Plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at powertrain component plants.
- Deliver projects supporting new programs.
- Install a new machining line at the Sharonville Transmission Plant (OH).
