About The Position

The 3rd Shift Machine Technician is responsible for performing all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements. This role involves meeting production standards, maintaining a clean work area, and operating machinery. The technician will also assist with various production-related tasks, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and follow all company policies.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Mechanically Inclined
Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
Troubleshoot problems and report issues
Must work well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Molding Experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.
Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
Start/Shutdown machines and automation as needed for production.
Reload labels into automation.
Report on all quality issues to Process Technicians and/or Process Engineer.
Assist Process Technicians as needed with color changes, machine start-ups, minor process adjustments and process control paperwork.
Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment needed for production run.
Report all production waste to Production Manager or Supervisor.
Responsible for safety and quality throughout production.
Responsible for notifying a Process Technicians and/or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
Perform other duties as required by Process Technicians and/or Supervisor and Manager.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
