Requirements

  • Read and understand CNC program language.
  • Must pass proficiency tests.
  • Read and write.
  • Basic Math Skills.
  • Use Inspection instruments.
  • Minor (Preventative maintenance) “PM” on equipment.
  • Basic computer/technology skills.
  • Use basic hand tools to perform minor PM on equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs proper set-ups & operates all machines according to the work instructions provided.
  • Inspects & gauges parts per work instructions. Makes tool offsets in CNC program as needed.
  • Performs minor PM on equipment as required. Tracks & documents hourly production and set-up times as required. Maintain accurate records.
  • Repairs on fixtures & tooling.
  • Unpacks, washes & repacks shipments as required. Includes tech cell & job shop assignments.
  • Trains as required.
