About The Position

The Paint, Print, Pack Machine Technician 1 – E-Coat is responsible for preventive maintenance, daily cleaning, and general maintenance of paint equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment, adjusting it to maximize output, monitoring the production lines, and operating equipment within the cell. The technician is also expected to maintain a steady pace, follow work-area safety requirements, and practice 5S.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field at Milwaukee Tool or a similar employer.

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Advanced mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, daily cleaning, and general maintenance of paint equipment.
• Troubleshoot paint equipment, air pumps, and regulators.
• Repair and replace worn or broken components.
• Adjust equipment to maximize output.
• Perform titrations and make adjustments accordingly.
• Record pressure differences on gauges and visually inspect gauges and other equipment.
• Change filters as needed.
• Monitor chains for excessive buildup and clean or replace them as needed.
• Operate all equipment within the cell.
• Monitor production lines and ensure each line is operating at 100%.
• Maintain a steady work pace.
• Adhere to safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5S.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
