About The Position
Davis Tool, Inc. is seeking experienced Inspectors to verify machined and formed parts for their manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. The company supports the Semi-Conductor, Aerospace, Medical, and Other Industries with advanced technology manufacturing. Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured parts, interpreting drawings and specifications, and performing various inspection tasks. The role involves a Monday-Friday day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience inspecting machined or formed parts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Higher level computer skills and math skills
- Good attendance and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience and or Precision sheet metal experience
- Assembly experience as related to Aerospace / Semiconductor fields
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Responsibilities
- Verifying quality of a variety of manufactured parts including machined, formed, and assembled.
- Using standard inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, gage pins, height gages, bore gages, etc.
- Verifying all processing has been completed as planned.
- Performing documented First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
- Verifying cosmetic conformance to customer specifications.
- Communicate with other departments to address concerns
