About The Position

This position is for a Machine Shop role with two shift options: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm, and 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 pm-3:30 am. The wage is $22-25.00/hr. + DOE. The role involves planning machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering orders, planning stock inventory, making corrections and adjustments as required, checking machines for normal operations, maintaining specifications by observing drilling, cutting, grooving, facing, and turning, and documenting any required maintenance.

Requirements

• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Motivated

Nice To Haves

• CNC lathe or machining center experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blue prints and engineering orders.
• Plans stock inventory according to order specifications.
• Makes any corrections or adjustments that are required as per specifications.
• Checks machines for normal operations on regular bases.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, cutting, grooving including facing and turning.
• Documents any required maintenance that is needed.
