About The Position

The Machine Shop Helper supports the day-to-day operations of Falcon Shocks’ machining department, helping maintain an efficient workflow through material preparation, part handling, and general shop organization. The role is suited to a reliable, safety-focused person who is eager to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position in West Jordan, Utah, reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Falcon Shocks is a division of TeraFlex Inc., which makes high-performance suspension systems and components and emphasizes precision craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and off-road performance.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Must be able to stand, stoop, reach, and climb ladders for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and heavier loads with team assistance.
Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous shop or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus; training is provided if needed.

Responsibilities

Pull and prepare raw material for machining orders.
Operate a band saw to cut metal stock to specified lengths.
Deliver finished goods to appropriate departments or storage locations.
Polish and deburr finished parts to meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the machine shop.
Assist with routine machine-area maintenance and cleanup tasks.
Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
