About The Position

The Machine Sales Execution Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of new machine sales. This role involves delivering cross-functional sales operations execution excellence, managing sales and pricing analysts, and ensuring efficient execution of won deals through to delivery. The position also focuses on maintaining profitability through problem-solving, managing sales admins for timely invoicing, and deploying CAT support and programs. Additionally, the role involves managing the sales funnel to drive execution and meet monthly sales targets, working with Regional Sales Managers to ensure process adherence, and approving/revising deals as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver cross-functional sales operations execution excellence
  • Direct reporting/management of sales and pricing analysts(quoters)
  • Deliver true centralized quoting – 100% direct quoting/quoting oversite
  • Visibility/tracking machine packages
  • Monitor quote volumes
  • Direct reporting/management of sales support specialist supervisor
  • Efficient execution of won deals thru to delivery
  • Focus on aged inventory & attachments
  • Maintain profitability thru problem-solving
  • Direct reporting/management of sales admins
  • Timely invoicing of delivered deals
  • Address profitability shortfalls and resolve with resources available
  • Deal structure, pricing, & CAT support deployment
  • Manage and deploy CAT support and programs within defined approval levels
  • Pricing coherency between customers, market segments, and regions
  • Gross profit. Tracking of GP’s (quoted, adjustments, won, and pull through) and GP trends
  • Management of CAT price increases and price protection– ensure price increase are being quoted, and handle price protection/approvals for price protection
  • GP guidance to teams based on supply (ie high GP’s when constrained, more aggressive positioning when overstocked)
  • Field Sales Execution
  • Manage Sales Funnel to help drive execution and deliver monthly sales targets
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to ensure sales team is following processes
  • Approve deals when needed
  • Revise and update deals for ease of execution
  • Other duties as assigned
