About The Position

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent (required)
• 2-5 years Machine Repair experience (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Constant standing/walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and reaching
• Ascending/descending ladder, scaffolding, or stairs
• Grasping, manipulating, or assembling objects with hands/fingers
• Clear vision (near/far/peripheral) and hearing for safety
• Must have necessary standard tools

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of construction and machine design prints
• Knowledge of shop mathematics

Responsibilities

• Install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain in operating condition various machines and equipment throughout the plant.
• Diagnose trouble, determine methods of repair, make installations, plan layout, move and complete work on machines or equipment with minimum of supervision.
• Work close tolerances as required and make simple parts if needed.
• Perform general maintenance functions as required at the direction of the supervisor.
