About The Position

We are a logistics company that focuses on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. This is an indoor, steady, year-round work environment. The role involves safely and efficiently repairing and refurbishing damaged pallets that weigh 75 to 85 lbs, meeting company and safety standards, customer quality criteria, and production quotas daily in the safest manner possible.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years old.
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

Basic tool knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently repair pallets to meet company and safety standards.
Repair and refurbish damaged pallets weighing 75 to 85 lbs with speed, accuracy, and detail.
Adhere to customer quality criteria.
Meet and exceed production quotas daily in the safest manner possible.
Inspect pallets visually for defects including broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination.
Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
Remove damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
Use a reciprocating saw and grinder to cut or remove old and bent nails.
Attach appropriate boards according to company specs using a pneumatic nail gun and hammer.
Perform simple math skills by adding or subtracting the number of pallets repaired.
Restock building supplies at the end of the shift.
Clean the pallet repair area during and at the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as required.
