Machine Repair and Restoration Technician
About The Position
This role involves assisting lead technicians, the Production Manager, and the Project Manager on various aspects of machine rebuilding projects. The technician will be responsible for the disassembly and reassembly of machinery and equipment, basic troubleshooting, and the installation and removal of components and systems. The position also requires basic welding, cutting, burning, and operation of lift trucks and manlifts, as well as restoration of machinery and equipment as directed. The role requires the ability to work both locally at the Cleveland, OH facility and to travel for multi-week out-of-town projects.
Requirements
- General knowledge, aptitude or experience with machine repair and or restoration
- Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs
- Access and mobility in tight spaces
- High school diploma ( GED ) or graduation from a certified technical school
- English language literacy and fluency
- Knowledge of and ability to use mechanic's/machine repairman's tools
- Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
