About The Position

As a Machine Technician you will perform work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.

Requirements

Three to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier company.
Ability to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.
Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. using indicators.
Spindle removal, rebuild, replace.
Ability to read blueprints (bearing stack up, hydraulic systems).
Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replace.
Hydraulic System troubleshooting.
Mobile Crane License and Rigging.
Ability to work well with others and in teams.
Possess a certified journeyperson’s card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade from previous employers on company letterhead.
Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
Available to work any shift as required.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
