About The Position

Cenveo, a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes, is hiring Machine Envelope Packers for all shifts at its City of Industry, CA plant. This role involves operating and monitoring envelope folding machines, ensuring product quality, and managing production schedules.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
• Quality inspection skills.
• Ability to measure/read a ruler.
• Basic math skills.
• Verbal/written communication skills.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and packs finished product.
• Inspects the quality of envelopes and labels cartons.
• Reports variances to key personnel.
• Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
• May be required to do rework on finished product.
• Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned/required.
