About The Position

Machine Packers are responsible for loading paper onto automatic hand-fed/web envelope folding machines and packing finished products. This role involves inspecting the quality of envelopes, labeling cartons, and reporting any variances to key personnel. The position requires checking current production orders and schedules to determine daily production needs. Additionally, Machine Packers may be required to complete rework and clean up their work area at the end of each shift. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment
• Quality inspection skills
• Ability to measure/read a ruler
• Basic math skills
• Basic verbal/written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Safety focused
• Reliable
• Consistent attendance and dependability

Nice To Haves

• Adequate mechanical skills demonstrated after 90 days for potential promotion to Machine Adjuster

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Shift premium $0.35/hr (when working nights)
