Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to identify product defects and quality issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Set up, start, monitor, adjust, and shut down equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects and report quality concerns to supervision.
  • Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Load raw materials and remove finished products as required.
  • Complete production documentation, quality checks, and required reports accurately.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance personnel.
  • Assist with machine cleaning, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel to achieve production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
