About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have successfully completed probationary period.
Must have excellent attendance record (6 points or less) and maintain 9 points or less.
Excellent Safety record, must not have a disciplinary action resulting in Suspension in the last 12 months.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends/ holidays if required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Willing to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 lbs.
Ability to read and understand the computer screen and select the correct options to safety run the machine.

Responsibilities

Operates automated equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs set-up, troubleshoot, and teardown of assigned equipment.
Programs equipment to accommodate various methods.
Responsible for the KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator) associated with the equipment: throughput, efficient operation of the equipment while maintaining reduced equipment downtime, yield, quality, etc.
Operates machine requiring lock out tag out and the ability to read and understand the computer screen and select the correct options to safety run the machine.
Continual process throughout the entire work shift at full production rates.
Performs all other tasks as deemed necessary to support the production goals.
