About The Position

A well-established manufacturing company in Southwest City, Missouri, is seeking a Machine Operator for its production department. The role involves setting up and repeatedly operating machines, keeping machines and the work area clean and organized, and completing other tasks as directed. The position pays $15 per hour and is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. A background check and drug test are required.

Requirements

• High school education or GED completion.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Responsibility and reliable transportation.
• Required attendance.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools and perform basic shop math.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous production line or machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines, including repetitive operation.
• Ensure machines and the work area are clean.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete other tasks as directed by the Production Manager.
• Perform tasks according to training and company guidelines.
