About The Position
Our partner, ConMet is hiring Press Operators to support operations within the Molding Department in Canton, NC. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, machine operating, assembly, or production experience who want to grow with an industry-leading company.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, machine operator, or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to use a computer and handheld scan gun
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Inspect, assemble, label, and package parts according to work instructions
- Operate production equipment and labeling scan guns
- Record production, quality, and scrap information accurately
- Maintain production and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors or leads
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and workplace procedures
