This role involves various tasks and responsibilities related to machine operation, quality control, and problem-solving on the shop floor.

Requirements

Must be detail-oriented
Ability to recognize discrepancies and initiate resolution
Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs.
Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
Able to use basic hand tools and small power equipment
Able to assist in training employees

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred

Responsibilities

Complex Machine set up, tooling changes and changeovers
Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to use computers
Able to read blueprint or markers
Enter detailed program data for complex parts and processes
Responsible for quality
Accurate use of complex measurement tools
Handling complex parts and processes with fine detail, often the last step before finishing
5-S audits and daily cleaning
Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
