This role involves various tasks and responsibilities related to machine operation, quality control, and problem-solving on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to recognize discrepancies and initiate resolution
  • Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Able to use basic hand tools and small power equipment
  • Able to assist in training employees

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
  • A self-starting, goal-oriented, customer-focused individual who takes personal accountability and acts in accordance with the Company’s Values

Responsibilities

  • Complex Machine set up, tooling changes and changeovers
  • Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ability to use computers
  • Able to read blueprint or markers
  • Enter detailed program data for complex parts and processes
  • Responsible for quality
  • Accurate use of complex measurement tools
  • Handling complex parts and processes with fine detail, often the last step before finishing
  • 5-S audits and daily cleaning
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
