About The Position

Requirements
- Experience with D6 Dozer, 84” Padfoot compactor, Wheel loader and water truck.
- HAZWOPER 40 certification.
- Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks in diverse environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform construction utility work including utility locating with specialized tools.
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety protocols during operation.
- Skilled in construction grading techniques to ensure proper site elevation and drainage.
- Familiarity with excavation procedures, construction site experience, and utility work.
- Excellent understanding of equipment safety procedures combined with a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
Nice To Haves
- Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks to perform excavation, grading, and utility work with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with construction utility work by locating underground utilities accurately to prevent damage during excavation activities.
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Support construction site activities by performing tasks related to site preparation, grading, and utility installation under supervision.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections for accountability and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe and efficient operation of all heavy machinery on-site.
