About The Position

Dauch is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator for our 3rd shift operation at our GKN Bowling Green facility. This role involves operating and monitoring machinery to produce high-quality driveline components, ensuring production efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Ability to work consistently on a 3rd shift schedule (typically 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM or similar).
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate various production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Load and unload materials and parts from machines.
Monitor machine operation, identify and report any malfunctions or irregularities.
Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Identify and suggest improvements to production processes for increased efficiency and quality.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
