About The Position

The Machine Operator will use required pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products according to Company and customer specifications. This role requires understanding associated parts and their relationship to the end product, and the ability to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process. The position is for the 3rd shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
  • Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
  • Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
  • Must follow all safety practices and policies.
  • Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
  • Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
  • Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred
  • High level of attention to details.

Responsibilities

  • Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
  • Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
  • Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
  • Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
  • Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
  • All other duties as assigned.
