Machine Operator - 1st Shift

About The Position

The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in manufacturing Cardinal Health medical products. The role operates multiple machines and performs routine inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet quality specifications. The operator reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify root causes. Manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. Work is performed in accordance with safety guidelines and applicable processing standards. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience; preferred.
Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and adhere to quality guidelines.
Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production equipment according to current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Measure and record data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
Verify manufacturing outputs and ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
Inspect components for debris and other potential quality defects, and report defects to management and the quality team.
Report defects and work with the quality team to investigate and identify root causes.
Ensure manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport.
Perform duties in compliance with applicable company, local, state, and federal safety rules and regulations.
