About The Position

The Machine Operator uses simple hand tools in an assembly capacity. The position involves following work instructions, applying basic assembly principles, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The employer will train a candidate with no prior experience who meets the minimum age requirement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No experience is necessary; training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and self-discipline.
• Ability to read work instructions and understand basic assembly principles.
• Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including standing continually and lifting or moving items of varying weights.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools such as a hammer, torque wrench, drill, and pliers in assembly work.
• Perform single-hand hammer operations during some assembly steps.
• Read work instructions and apply basic assembly principles.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for actions, and complete tasks on time.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team and contribute to shared goals.
• Commit to overtime when necessary to reach goals.
