About The Position

As an End Cap Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by manufacturing dual wall end caps with internal adhesive that create pressure-tight seals for wires, tubes, and cables. Your success in this role will directly contribute to product quality, operational efficiency, and safe manufacturing performance while helping meet customer and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience with production equipment and machinery.
  • Understanding of materials, production processes, and quality control practices.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and visual accuracy when inspecting materials and finished products.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, operating procedures, and production documentation.
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment used in the manufacture of dual wall end caps based on business requirements.
  • Start, monitor, and maintain machine operations while accurately recording operational data.
  • Produce end caps for wiring, tubing, and cabling applications according to specifications.
  • Review work orders and production schedules to determine material requirements, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Consistently meet production and quality standards while minimizing scrap and performing required size changes.
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously and follow all packaging procedures, product specifications, and process requirements.
  • Complete all required production, material, and labor reporting accurately.
  • Support Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) initiatives and contribute to an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workplace.
  • Follow Leader Standard Work requirements and operate equipment safely and effectively at all times.
  • Assist with training new and junior employees using established control plans, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
