About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to meet production goals while maintaining product quality.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and safety documents.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience operating production equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Report equipment malfunctions and assist maintenance personnel with repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality data.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), if applicable.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
