About The Position
URGENT HIRING Machine Operator. Please note interviews will be held in person in Fairfield, NJ. This is a Full-Time position, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Starting pay is $20.50-21.50hr depending on experience. Proper PPE and Uniforms are provided. Benefits include Health, Dental, and Vision. We are looking for Machine Operators interested in a long-term opportunity, willing to learn and progress within the Natural Stone Fabrication field.
Requirements
- Experience in fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz
- Experience in Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing fields
- Experience operating a Forklift
- Strong work ethic
- Tape measuring skills
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hire.
- Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate edges, sides, corner radius, angles, and sink cutouts using the tools required in the process
- Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensions
- Assist in minor repair and maintenance on assigned equipment
- Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof face mask, etc.)
- Assure that all work areas are cleaned and organized
