About The Position

Monoflex is a leading manufacturer of flexible drop pipe and water system products serving customers across North America. Our team takes pride in producing high-quality products that support residential, agricultural, municipal, and industrial water systems. As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process by operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and helping ensure safe and efficient operations. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating lathes, slotting machines, and related production equipment to manufacture products that meet customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Highschool Diploma or GED preferred, equivalent will be accepted.
  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with lathes, slotters, or similar production equipment.
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience reading blueprints or production drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Operate lathes, slotting machines, and other production equipment.
  • Read job orders and production instructions to determine product specifications and operating requirements.
  • Position and secure workpieces, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Adjust machine controls to establish proper feeds, speeds, and cutting depths.
  • Operate machine controls and handwheels to perform machining operations.
  • Direct coolant, cutting oil, or air flow as required during production.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Verify parts meet dimensional and quality specifications.
  • Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production discrepancies to supervision.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Practice safe operation of machinery and equipment at all times.
