About The Position
The Machine Operator's overall goal is to keep the Greenville Facility running smoothly by making adjustments during production runs and utilizing quality tools to ensure product standards are met. The Machine Operator will understand the function of equipment to correctly make adjustments during runs, while promoting smooth operation of the line.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to walk & stand during most all of a 10 hour shift
- Quality driven, Self-motivated, and willing to learn
- Dependable & punctual
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Machine Operating Experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks (code dates, seal integrity, and correct labeling) on a predetermined schedule as needed or assigned by leadership.
- Ensure lot ID information is tracked accurately and all paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
- Increase effectiveness and cross-train where needed to promote line effectiveness.
- Maintain high standards in regards to company policy involving SAFETY and GMPs.
- Participate in Tool Box talks incorporating stretching.
- Promote Safe Start principles and near miss reporting to further the improvement of safety in the plant.
- Keep work areas orderly and clean.
